For my Dad’s birthday I made cupcakes and this was the result! Tried out a chocolate cream icing for the first time - and I have to say, it was divine! (if I may say so myself! :))
So, I haven’t posted anything on here for quite a while really! Been busy with EMP stuff at Uni and now that’s all over I finally have some time to do what I love - make things! (without the pressure of deadlines!)
Current work for a University project on Aviva - to try and get young people interested in saving.

These are a series of Christmas cards and Thank you cards that I have made in the past week.
Christmas really gets me in the mood for making stuff and a friend of mine started customising some candles so I had a go myself with a stamp, some pens and tissue paper - it’s rather addictive!!
As my blog has shown so far, I do love a bit of baking (especially cupcakes!) So I had a go at using a piping bag and this is the result :) Need to practice a bit more I think with some coloured icing next time!
Yesterday I went to the National Trust’s ‘Wakehurst Place’ in West Sussex with some friends and these photos are from the house and gardens there. It was a beautiful Winter’s day and would definitely recommend it! :)
We have put up the tree in our household now, and it feels so Christmassy. Yes…it is a bit early, but I couldn’t wait! It’s almost December anyway… :)
